Hello!

My name is Antonio Foralosso

and I am an Italian photographer

from the city of Verona.

Welcome to my portfolio.

Verona, in Medium Format

The camera I use the most is a full-frame Sony α7R V.

I use Sony and Sigma lenses for more traditional photography. For artistic shots my choice falls on Meyer Optik Görlitz (new version), Lomography and Lensbaby lenses.

I gave also into the fascination of the visual quality produced by medium format cameras and so now my second camera is a Fujifilm GFX100 II.

Whatever the scene I portray or the lens I use, photography for me always arises from a personal, insatiable and unstoppable expressive need.

If you wish to know more about what photography means to me and what I’m trying to say when I take photographs, I refer you to “My inspiration” (previous homepage of the site) and "About me" pages.

With the eyes of the heart

The city of Verona, where I live, with her magnificent artistic and landscape views is often the subject of my compositions. Other times she acts as an (un)conscious backdrop.

I took all the photographs exhibited here in Verona.

Feelings

I postproduce my photographs on a monitor calibrated for printing (color temperature at 5.000 kelvin, brightness at 110 cd/qm and gamma 2.2). If the screen you use has very different visual parameters, the colors and brightness you see in the photos may differ from my intent.

At the end of this journey I hope to have been able to speak to you with sincerity and give you at least a bit of my heart through a lens.

Thank you for your visit.
